What Not to Forget When Camping

As we packed up for our first several-day trip in our new Casita we went through the list of things to bring. We thought we had everything or so it seemed. Two and a half hours into the trip (at 10:30pm) this played out:

Husband to me: Did you remember to pack the coffee?
Me: What? Oh NO!
Husband: Did you remember the cups?
Me: OH NOOOOO?!!
Husband: We have to find a store to pick up some coffee and cups.
Me to Husband: Did you remember the camp chairs?
Husband: WHAT? OH NOOOOO!!!

Luckily before we arrived at our destination we were able to find a store that was still open and picked up these fun mugs. They definitely suit our personalities. We did not pick up camp chairs. Thankfully friends at the campground where we stayed had additional chairs in their tow vehicle and lent us two of theirs. When we told them our story of forgetting our chairs, they replied they too had done this several times. In fact, they said they had a garage full of different chairs from their many trips. We all had a good laugh! Let's see how our next trip goes...
